Aug 2015: Update on Ernie Reyes Jr

In June, we found out that Ernie Reyes Jr had kidney failure earlier this year.  So many questions keep flying as people want to know how Ernie is doing.  What is going on, if he’s getting a kidney transplant or not?  What changes are in store for him?  I’ve seen a lot of love go his way from the fandom and some people just assuming things.  This is a hard time in anyone’s life, and I’m out to help bring the support towards Ernie as he needs it.  I got to see him at Fandom Fest 2015 and he was kind enough to sit down and talk about what’s going on.

Why Cowabunga Corner 6 has not been Filmed

Cowabunga Corner normally starts our season episodes in June, having a new season start each year since 2010 with interviews, reviews, and so much more.  Though in 2014, we did not have a new season, as Season 6 never started.  We kept promising to get Season 6 going with interviews already filmed and sitting in wait for the rest of the season.  The big questions that people have asked are why and where is the next season?  Here are the answers to what is going on.

Kodak Moment #36

I got hundreds to thousands of photos through my life.  A lot of which would match up to stories here on Cowabunga Corner, but for one reason or another they are not chosen.  This does not mean that these photos are not worth sharing and do not hold stories of their own.  I would like to keep sharing what I can here on the site, so whenever I can I will share a photo and a story to go along with the photo.  If it’s a part of events that has been shared here, we will link back to the stories of the events themselves as well.  Hope everyone enjoys.  Today’s photo is from a Greek Festival in the early 90’s.

Going into the Secrets of the SewersThis past Saturday Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles took over at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. That was the day that the “Secrets of the Sewers” Exhibit opened up to the public.  This is a large Exhibit full of games, props, and group activities.  Made to help families and friends learn to work together as a team while enjoying our fab four Turtles!  Here is my review of the “Secrets of the Sewers” Exhibit.
