Cowabunga Corner #124: Ernie Reyes Jr. Interview

In this episode I get to interview Ernie Reyes Jr.  Ernie is the actor who played Keno in the second TMNT film, he is also the stunt double for Donatello in the first TMNT movie.  Ernie has been training most of his life, and was beating adults in tournaments as a child.  He’s worked on movies and tv shows since a young age and keeps going to this day.  He was recently on LA NCIS.

I first saw Ernie as Keno, at that time I was reading a lot of the behind the scenes magazines on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies.  I loved interviews and set photos.  Learning how the movies were being made.  Ernie showed up in a lot of these magazines.  I was already in Karate and learning to defend myself by time I started to pay attention to these stories, so Ernie’s story inspired me.  That even small, you can stand up for yourself.  Through the interviews, he became one of the top three people from the films that I wanted to meet.  Which has me honored to be able to bring this interview to everyone here on Cowabunga Corner.
