Free Autographed TMNT Card giveaway!

April2013GiveAwayIt has been a little bit since we've done a Cowabunga Corner giveaway.  Those who follow us on facebook and twitter already know about this, as we started the contest last week.  You have till May 3rd to enter the contest!  Want to know how, read more here.

Enter the contest by commenting on the Facebook status linked here

Most people are able to comment even without being friends.  Some have had problems with this.  I do approve all friend requests.  So feel free to send a friend request and comment, and if you do not wish to remain friends you may remove me from your friends list.

The second way to enter is by retweeting this Tweet.

You can only enter the contest these two ways.  Though you can enter twice by doing both.  The contest will be ending at 9pm on Friday, May 3rd, 2013.  Only one person will win.  We wish everyone luck.

A little about this trading card. It was bought at a Yard Sale in Ferndale, Michigan back in June 2012. It is from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie trading card set, number 98. Title of the card is "Tuning up!" on the back it says:

"Tuning up!

Although they have some difficulty at first, the Turtles soon master the outrageous new fighting technique. They practice over and over again until every reflex is perfectly tuned..

Continued on Card #99:

Ready for a Rematch"

The back of this card has the brownish cardboard look which was the cards sold in the packs at the stores. This is not from the full set of cards that was sold together as those were a lighter color backing. They came out in 1990.

In August 2012 I got to meet up with Ernie Reyes Jr. and he signed this card.  Ernie was Donatello's stunt double in the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.  He was wearing the costume when this photo on the card was taken. A lot of TMNT fans best know Ernie as Keno in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze.

On May 4th 2013, Kevin Eastman will be signing autographs for Free Comic Book day at Jet Pack Comics in Rochester, NH.  Also that day Peter Laird will be signing at Shellback Artwork in Wells, ME.  I am planning to go to both of these autograph sessions that day.  I will try and get this card signed by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird.  So there is a chance that this card could have three autographs on it instead of one.

Thanks for taking interest in the Contest and Good luck to all who enter!
