Kodak Moment #42

I got hundreds to thousands of photos through my life.  A lot of which would match up to stories here on Cowabunga Corner, but for one reason or another they are not chosen.  This does not mean that these photos are not worth sharing and do not hold stories of their own.  I would like to keep sharing what I can here on the site, so whenever I can I will share a photo and a story to go along with the photo.  If it’s a part of events that has been shared here, we will link back to the stories of the events themselves as well.  Hope everyone enjoys.  Today’s photo is fun at Greenfield Village.

This photo is from Fall 2000 when my friend Tygra came in to visit from Brazil.  I met Tygra on the internet in the mid 1990’s.  She came up to visit me a few times.  Always had a fun time hanging out with her.  This time we were at Greenfield Village in Dearborn Michigan.   Also in the photo is Shadow Wolf and my mom.

Tygra is a big fan of Thundercats which is something we have in common as I love the ThunderCats TV series and still have all my toys.  She’s a fun person to talk with, and someone I’ve always enjoyed having as a friend.

Greenfield Village is connected to the Henry Ford Museum.  It’s got a lot of old buildings, farms and trains.  It’s one of the few areas in Michigan that I do recommend for people to visit.  I feel that got stuff for the entire family, teaches history, and is relaxing to visit.  If you’re ever in the Detroit area, look up Greenfield Village.
