Random Collection #27

Throughout the years of being a Ninja Turtle fan, my collection has been growing.  Every year I get something new that joins the collection.  Growing since 1989, I have over 500 Ninja Turtle toys out of package and over 300 in package, as well as books, animation cels, original comic art, scripts and so much more.  To cover all of this on Cowabunga Corner is not something I really think I can do.  Though I get a lot of questions about my collection, so I figured I could do random stories from time to time to share one item in my collection.  This one is about TMNT Pillow Cases based on the 4Kids series.

I’ve always loved getting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stuff from clothing, toys to DVDs.  Most of my collection is official items that you can find in stores.  Though every now and then I get a new treasure added to the collection.  Treasures are those items that came from the heart.  Something that every time I see it, I can recall who gave it to me and where it’s from.  This item is one of those treasures.  I got these in the mail for Christmas one year.  They are my TMNT Pillowcases made by a TMNT-L friend, Mily. 

These awesome orange pillow cases have been some of my favorite TMNT pillow cases as I’ve been using them since they arrived.  Bringing these with me across country to the many different events I go too.  They’re nice and big, so they fit the pillows nice as well as other things like fleece blankets I may need to place inside them to carry from the car to a hotel room.  They’re strong and have held up through the years.  Truly some of the best pillow cases I’ve had.
