Review: Valentines Day Tattoos

This be the season of love in the air and Valentine’s Day stuff all over the place.  Every story carrying something slightly different from the last and it just seems to keep coming.  For Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles we’ve had everything from glow sticks, erasers, chocolates to stickers showing up at the stores.  This time we are focusing on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tattoos.  That’s right, Valentine Day Tattoos.  What will they think of next?  Here’s my review of this new item you can get for your children to give out.

This box of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Valentine Day goodies has 34 Valentines Day cards with 35 tattoos.  One extra for the child giving out the cards.  Inside the box you find seven different designed cards all attached, one really large one.  Different characters.  You’re not only getting the Turtles in this set, you have Splinter and April!  There is a sheet of heart stickers for folding your cards closed, and a sheet of tattoos.  To my surprise, there is 35 different Tattoos!

That’s right, every Tattoo is different from the next.  You’re not going through choosing the from the same four designs or even seven designs.  You are given a full sheet to pick from.  Including at least one with the Turtles fighting Shredder!  Even the Shell raiser gets it’s own tattoo.

I am really impressed with this.  I am use to everyone having a small group to choose from, with a lot of doubles given out to different people.  Though this is something the full class can talk about… what is your tattoo… oh mine is this!  No one will be saying “I got the same one” unless more than one kid in the class is giving from this set of TMNT cards.  Ranking this set up cards up there with the TMNT erasers.

I found these cards at Hastings for $3.99.  With what you get, I feel it is a better deal than the $4 box that has glow sticks.  Made by Paper Magic Group these cards stand out.  Their box is dated 2013, so did these cards come out in 2013?  If someone saw these last year, please do let us know.

I do recommend these to TMNT fans, not just for Valentines Day, but if you enjoy giving things out to TMNT fans.  The Tattoos do NOT have hearts or Vday messages on them.  This is the type of thing I would give out at conventions or TMNT gatherings.  Very cool and a lot of fun!

Have you found the box of TMNT Valentine Cards with Tattoos in your area? Which stores?  Did you see them in 2013?  Please share all reviews, comments and questions below!
