Video Review: TMNT Mix & Match Casey, Bebop and Rocksteady

Series two of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mix and Match toys has been released, with Casey Jones, Bebop and Rocksteady.  These are more toys to add to the batch of action figures which exchanges body pieces.  A fun toy line that gives some of the Ninja Turtle figures a chance for a makeover.  For better or worse, let’s take a look at these new versions of characters who were released in the on going TMNT Action figure line.  This is my review of Mix and Match Casey Jones, Bebop and Rocksteady.

Casey Jones was the first one I pulled out of costume.  Looking at Casey, he’s got a much different body than the original release as they had to make it bigger to take on parts from the other toys.  I wish that they gave him his mask and took away the face paint for this version, though sadly they took away the mask and kept the face paint.

Bebop and Rocksteady are both great.  They’re bigger than their original release, which works for me.  Much like how I treat Slash from this series of TMNT toys I have them standing with my normal TMNT toys retiring the tiny versions of them.  They’re neat because of their size.  I go over the other detail changes inside the video and show a few different Mix and Match idea.

I highly recommend Bebop and Rocksteady to everyone who’s collecting the Nickelodeon toys.  They do stand a little taller than the original releases which makes them good for any action figure collections.  Though Casey Jones I only recommend for people who are like me, enjoying the Mix & Match TMNT action figure line.  He adds some fun extra pieces to throw into upcoming Mix and Matches, though brings nothing new to the table to make him stand with the other toys, if you already have a Casey Jones figure.

These are from Playmates Toys.  The company that has stayed with the TMNT for the longest time, and helped make the Turtles to be what they are today.  Please do take the time to check their websites:
