Review & Comparison! OS TMNT 1 to Nick TMNT

013This is the day I would normally write a review about the newest episode of Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  I would go on about the plots, characters, favorite scenes, and if I like or don’t like the changes made to characters in the show.  These are normally fun write ups sharing my inside view of the Nickelodeon series.  And while I wish I could say these are weekly, they’re not.  Nickelodeon every now and then takes a break, making us fans hold our breath just a little bit longer in waiting for the next installment of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  So what do I do?  I re hatch the old series of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

CCN: Playmates Toy Interview 2012

In September 2012 I had the chance to interview Pat and Chris from Playmate Toys about the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toy line based on the Nickelodeon TMNT series that started later that month.  We talk about the steps they go through in making the toys, how long they’ve been involved with Playmates and about toys that have not made it to the market.

Review: Nickelodeon TMNT "New Friend, Old Enemy

The Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series has went well with the first three episodes giving us the feel of the world and characters.  Though as many has noticed, the Foot has not fought or seen the Turtles face to face.  With only one small look at them, fans have been itching to see them battle.  The fourth episode aired this last Saturday granting that wish from the fans, as the Foot has now started to make their move.  Can the Turtles handle themselves in their first battle with the Foot?  And will Nickelodeon bring the strong Ninja action that fans are hoping to see?  Those were the questions coming into this episode, now we can answer our thoughts and look back to “New Friend, Old Enemy”

Review: Rob Paulsen's Talkin Toons TMNT

In 1989, I was introduced to a TV series that changed my life.  Through the years of knowing this show I have had some really cool adventures, met some wonderful people and have grown an amazing collection.  And the full time I’ve held a deep respect for those who made this all happen for me, the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cartoon series.  This show was truly what got me hooked to Ninja Turtles and I could never thank the cast and crew enough for how much it has helped me in my life.  Really, I never knew if I’d get the chance to meet the cast of the show.  So when Rob Paulsen announced that the cast was going to be on his podcast Talkin Toons, as well as it being recorded live, I knew this was an event I could not miss.

Review: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures Vol. 1

Once again IDW brings us something really cool for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans.  They went a step farther than how things went with 2009 when Archie released their book of the first three TMNT comics.  How could IDW do more, since they already did another printing of the Archie’s 2009 release?  Simple!  Keep bringing us the releases of the old Archie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures!  And that is what they’re doing!

Review: TMNT Micro Series Vol 1

IDW Publishing has been bringing us a handful of great comic books, this time it’s the IDW TMNT Micro Series. With a total of 8 in production, we’ve seen four of them so far and they’ve been great.  I’ve had the chance to review each of these comics as they came out.  There was the Raphael issue, which brought us signs of Bebop and Rocksteady.
