Review: LEGO Leatherhead minifigure

For many years, LEGO has been a staple of many childhoods around the world. As adult collectors, we appreciate LEGO toys not only for their imaginative concepts, but for the amazing quality that is put into each piece.

Movie Review: LEGO Movie

Last year a big surprise hit the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fandom.  The new LEGO movie trailer showed Michelangelo as one of the characters that can be seen in the movie.  Of course the only part we saw him in was when he’s introduced, so there was question if he would be in more of the movie.  While other heroes like Batman was getting a lot of screen time in the trailers.  This put the LEGO movie on my Calendar as a must see movie for 2014.  And it finally hit the theaters today.  Here is my review of the LEGO Movie!

Review: Comic Con International 2013

I would like to think that I have going to conventions down to an art form.  I’ve been one of the kids who grew up upon convention floors, running through Sifi, horror, comics, and anime cons.  I’ve done cosplay, panels, sold, shop, worked, and so much more.  Conventions is a high light that is to be enjoyed, an event where people who have a common interest can come together to embrace what makes them happy.  Though here comes Comic Con International.  The largest of the events I go too and one of the hardest one for me to get through.  With overnight camping, long lines, huge crowds, and cattle herding security.  This is my fifth time going to Comic Con International and I still need to find away to where I can handle this event to enjoy, instead of feeling like I’m always on the run.  Here is my review of San Diego Comic Con International 2013.

Review: Toy Fair 2013

In the Mid 1990's, I started to learn that there was a value to collecting Turtle Toys.  I remember that I was at Borders Books as my mom and dad had friends they would meet up with once a month and I would wander around looking for something to do with myself.  I decided to pick up a toy magazine was surprised to find a long list of toys and how much they are worth.  So I flicked through and found Ninja Turtles and realized just how much there is in the collection that I had even at that time.  My curiosity on this got me to start picking up toy magazines and doing so I learned about Toy Fair.

This is my first time to Toy Fair and hopefully will not be my last.  I've been having a blast and am not done yet.  Searching and finding Turtles.  I wanted to give a short post that shares pictures of some of the booths that have Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle items on display!  Enjoy!

TMNT Games are to be done by Activision

Video Games has always been a large part of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles History.  Starting back in the 1990’s with the Nintendo system, Arcade, and so much more.  We’ve watch the Turtle games grow and change throughout the years. Since Nickelodeon has got the Turtles fans have been asking “Who will be doing the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game?” and today we got the answer as I saw on twitter from Nickelodeon UK PR “Pleased to announce new global deal between Nickelodeon and Activision to produce Turtles video games.”  This is big news for the TMNT fandom!  Finally a TMNT game.
